When someone adopts a puppy out of a litter, they pick the one that yap yap yaps and chews on everything because it’s so cute. Then the pup grows up and bark bark barks and chews on everything and it’s not so cute anymore. Another option is to adopt the pup that’s quiet yet interested. And by a strange coincidence the quiet ones are usually picked last because they seem not as playful and animated.
The quiet ones are easier to live with.
