A big lie is a complicated gizmo made of dozens of little lies, each one custom-made and prone to fail at inopportune times. The whole edifice needs only a good, solid whack to bring it to the ground.
In the end the truth always wins; it may just take awhile.
Be patient.
A fact will fit every other fact in the Universe, because it is the product of all other facts. A lie will fit nothing except another lie made for the express purpose of fitting it.
